Week 5 Summary (05/08/1967 - 05/014/1967)
Week Five of the 1967 BBW Replay is in the books, meaning that in a season that is twenty-five weeks in length, we have reached the 20% point of the season. Given that we have now reached enough of a critical mass on batting and pitching stats to make a leaderboard somewhat viable, included below is a leaders snapshot. All the teams have now played ~25 games, and a few have passed 30 games, so by the end of this coming week, all teams will be at or around the ~30 games played mark. In the AL, Boston remains in first place, but after getting swept in a doubleheader by second-place Detroit they now find their lead over the Tigers cut to 0.5 games, while the White Sox are now only one game out of first. Behind these three sits Cleveland and Baltimore as they both struggle with .500 and the difference in sixth and tenth place is one full game.
